the location was quite convenient to reach the river and shopping area. the room included shampoo, conditioner, and hot chocolate powder. i appreciated the staff offering to carry my suitcase up the stairs.
upon arrival, i found no towels in my bedroom. the manager said he could not find any towels and the storage was locked. i noticed the carpet in my room looked like it had not been vacuumed recently.

Prime Location and Pub Atmosphere!

amazing locationdelicious piefriendly staffmouldy shower
The location was amazing for the price. I found it right at the footbridge leading to the castle. I enjoyed a very delicious steak and blue cheese pie, it came with mash and spring greens. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast despite the pub being busy.
The room felt quite basic and somewhat dated. I noticed the shower head had mold, and the bathroom sink had a crack.

The location was great with easy access to the Castle and the river.
The staff seemed stressed upon my arrival, and I had difficulty getting a smile from any of the gentlemen. It was also hard to get service for the accommodation. There seemed to be technological issues, so their moods were low (which I understood), but it made my first night underwhelming. I was not greeted , however, the lady at the pub was friendly.
